Me: Jonah, what do you want to be when you grow up?
Jonah (emphatically): A Tractor!
Me: Maybe you could be the farmer who drives the tractor.
Jonah: I want to be a farmer girl!
Ellie: No, you want to be a farmer boy.
Jonah (grinning): Yeah. I want to be a farmer boy.

Too cute! When queried at school, my 5YO answered that he wants to be a trashman :-) DH just tells him as long as he's not an engineer (like his parents were) he can be whatever he wants!!!
Funny!! It could be worse - he could want to be a "princess," and, when told boys aren't princesses, I was told "okay, then I'm a BOY princess." Well that makes ALL the difference then!
