Hello and welcome to Cooking with Ellie. Today we are making some very yummy Maple Icees. Born out of a need to represent Canada at our preschool Family Fun Night (the theme was Around the World) we developed this very simple but fun and tasty little treat. 
You'll need an ice crushing or shaving machine. Most places sell them including many super stores. 1. Shave about a cup of ice into a bowl.
2. Pour 2 to 3 tablespoons 100% real maple syrup over the ice. I made sure to use Canadian syrup when we made them at the preschool, but feel free to use whatever one you like best.
