Ellie: What's wrong Mommy?
Me: Oh nothing. I'm just frustrating your father.
Ellie: (nonchalantly) Well, that happens sometimes.

To say I'm disappointed in USPS would be an understatement. Their customer service is deplorable. Here's the caveat to this global statement: my postman Curtis who I adore, is the best postman around and the staff at my local post office (even though they have a tendency to close 5-10 minutes before 6:00) are fantastic. Really! I mean it. My disgust with their employer does not extend to them.
Rocket Balloons: We had so much fun with these at a friend's house over the weekend. Seriously, I don't know who enjoyed them more, the kids or the adults.
People have been asking what it's been like since our tutus were in Cookie Magazine. I have to say it's been wonderful. We've had a tremendously positive response and I couldn't be more thrilled with the photoshoot they did. I think it really highlighted why these tutus are becoming so popular.
Okay, I know many of you who read this don't live in the Baltimore area, and normally I don't post about things to do in town (and have now done it in back to back posts) but I just stumbled across this event and thought it looked like fun. The B & O Railroad Museum in Baltimore is having a Kids Fest September 15 and 16. Milkshake (who I think are a Maryland-based group from Frederick) is going to be there. I've seen them on Noggin so they're sort of elevated to celebrity status with my group—the preschool set.
Every Friday from September 7th through March 21st the Maryland Science Center and the National Aquarium in Baltimore are discounting tickets for admission after 5 pm. Tickets are only $8! Considering each adult admission is normally over $20 that's a pretty sweet deal!
